Web Search Button to Easily Turn Off Web Results

Would be very cool to have a web search button near the "+" icon so we can turn off the web search very easily without having to use the +... also, have an option to automatically turn off and on search. (It doesn't remember when I turn off search)

Now I can deactivate web search for assistants but not when using a flagship model without assistant, and sometimes the search results just confuse the model. We should be able to have a button to deactivate search functionality in a per chat basis.

For some applications, I do not need to use websearch, instead it will just mess with the output but right now I have to manually turn it off every single time.

Hi EdDiboi, we have some UX improvements coming up to make toggling web search easier -- but for now you can always create a Custom Agent for your application and turn off web search for the agent https://you.com/support/best-practices-for-creating-you.com-custom-agents
